There's a reason that dawn comes at the begenning of the day
As the horizon awakens it pushes the dark of night away
The light though it pushes through a foggy mist
Assures me that the Lord awaits me at our place of tryst
There's a reason for dawn to brighten up the eastern skies
It's my warrent that God watches over me with His faithful eyes
As the dawning of the day brings darkness into glorious light
So the love of Jesus dispels my darkness--becoming my heart's delight
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee."
