An Amazing Story About Nutrition

LYDIA’S STORY
June, 2007

I started taking Reliv around the middle of December, 2006 (I had been taking many expensive vitamins for years, but shoved them aside when I started taking Reliv). Although we do not claim that Reliv is a cure for anything, we have seen tremendous results for anyone who sticks with it and takes it regularly. There are no drugs and no pharmaceutical claims. Reliv also has the greatest business opportunity…the sky is the limit as we help people attain to their highest level of health. Here’s my story.
With my first shake I slept through the night without staying awake because of hot flashes, night sweats and tingling in my extremities. 2 ½ months after Reliv my abnormal cycles stopped. Since my first sake I haven’t experienced the night sweats that I frequently had. I am just now starting to have evenings without hot flashes.
Circulation seems improved. Increased energy: With my second shake I didn’t feel I needed my morning nap. (We take 2 shakes a day for maintenance.) Within less than two weeks I was able to keep going without naps (short morning naps and 1-2 hour afternoon naps). I now have from 4-5 more productive hours in my day. My evening hours are usually quality hours now. I sleep soundly and rest well during the night.
I have lost 17 pounds just because I am not always craving something and looking for something to satisfy me.
I can jog a few blocks without loosing my breath. Walking is invigorating not tiring.
I can breathe deeply now. I am able to project my voice much better.
I seldom deal with the sinus drip that clogs me up. I don’t cough and wheeze when I awaken in the morning (I hardly ever choke on my food which was a regular occurrence before Reliv). I seldom have hick-ups, but I had them so bad before! Constipation, lactose intolerance, chest tightness, and tremors in my neck are no longer issues.
Approximately 75% of my foot and knee pain is dissipated. I haven’t worn ‘grandma shoes’ in several months and am able to wear nice heels again.
My lower back pain is getting less and less. (My back is staying in place better.)
The sciatic nerve pain that had landed me in bed on occasions seems to be about 85% alleviated.
I am not dealing with the arthritis pain in my hands.
I am not noticing the tremors in my neck or head. (I still have some shakiness in my hands at times, but I can type better)
My hair is turning from white to silver tone with quite a few dark hairs growing back in (it is also not falling out like before.) My fingernails aren’t peeling and seldom break anymore. I don’t sense the blockage in my right ear, and use the phone with that now. I have just been told that the macular degeneration that I have been dealing with the past years has now disappeared.
I thank God for bringing Reliv into our lives. I am grateful for every day that God has allowed me to have Russell still with me. Though he struggles, he is optimistic. Join us in praising God! We can be contacted at:

Kill The Spider

By Lydia Chorpening

I recently heard a story that pierced my heart with its message. It went like this.
Years ago a little town held its annual revival meeting which brought in the saints and sinners alike. The town drunk came too and was convicted of his evil ways. During the altar call he ran forward and cried out, “Oh Lord, forgive me and clear these webs from my mind.”
The next year the same thing happened. The drunk ran to the altar and cried out, “Lord, forgive me and clear these webs from my mind.” This went on for a few years until one year when the drunk ran forward, a voice called out from the back of the room, “No, Lord, kill the spider!”
We may chuckle at this story, but how true it is. The best way to remove webs is by killing spiders! The spider I am spotting in this letter is our “godlessness.” Oh, yes, we have all sorts of gods, but we have lost the God of our roots. Back in the 60’s we ruled out prayer and Bible reading in our schools. Ever since then our country has been in a downward spiral in our quality of education, by increased crimes and sickness and through disastrous weather patterns.
John Adams, America’s second president, made an entry in his diary dated February 22, 1756 which reads: “Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the

precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love and reverence toward Almighty God…What a Utopia, what a paradise would this region be.” (Quoted from One Nation Under God, a publication of the Christian Defense Fund.)
I know we have been consumed with the commercialism of the Christmas season, which unfortunately, is keeping many of us from realizing the seriousness of the upcoming primaries. Let me challenge each of us to remember that “righteousness exalts a nation,” while “sin is a reproach to any people.” Another great writer told us many years ago that the root of ALL evil is the LOVE of money.
When you vote, will you vote for the person who will do his best to return this nation to our roots of godliness, or will you vote for who you think will pad your pockets? Though some of us are afraid of spiders and run rather than killing them, I urge you to support a God-fearing candidate. It is our privilege! Voting is a blessing we can’t afford to miss! Think hard, pray much and be prepared to vote for righteousness!

TWO-THOUSAND-AND-EIGHT

By Lydia Chorpening

Unclog all the channels
Make the cocked paths straight
This is our mandate
For two-thousand-and-eight.

Forgive your brothers
Remove every bit of hate
Then you’ll walk in peace
In two-thousand-and-eight

Let your eyes stay focused
Don’t lean on fate
Keep walking in faith
Throughout two-thousand-and-eight

Shake off any hindrance
Pick up your gait
Wholly follow the Lord
In two-thousand-and-eight

Arise with the dawn
So you won’t be late
To spend time in God’s presence
In two-thousand-and-eight

Leave the crooked behind
God’s Word leads you straight
Be full of its wisdom
For two-thousand-and-eight.

“Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose],
and let your gaze be straight before you.”
Proverbs 4:25 (AB)

:And cut through and make firm and plain and
smooth, straight paths for your feet…”
Hebrews 12:13a (AB)
